Make Mine a PB2 Sandwich, Please…

It has been a day of new products! For a snack today, I decided to sample a new nut butter product, PB2.

PB2 is a powdered peanut butter. You need only add water and VOILA gorgeous, creamy peanut butter!
Here is what Bell Plantation has to say about it:
– PB2 is made with premium quality peanuts that are slow-roasted to our specifications and pressed to remove the fat.
– All natural with no artificial sweeteners or preservatives.
– Same consistency as full-fat peanut butter with all of the roasted peanut flavor, but with more than 85% less fat calories. I love the concept of PB2 for traveling. You can not take normal peanut butter with you through airport security. But, powdered peanut butter could be taken through with no problem. Then, when you are ready to use it you can just get a little water from a water fountain. It also allows you some control over how thick or thin you want your peanut butter.
Step One: I poured the peanut powder into a tupperware container

Step Two: Add 1 and 1/2 Tablespoons of Water and combine

MAGIC!!!!!! I happily dipped my carrots sticks into my PB2 deliciousness and life was beautiful!

Surprisingly, I enjoyed PB2 quite a bit… maybe even more than regular peanut butter. It tasted more like pure peanuts!
Pros: Lower in Fat and Calories than regular Peanut Butter; More of a Natural Peanut Taste; Perfect for Travel; Versatile; No need to Refrigerate
Cons: You need something to mix it in; Strange Concept
The Verdict: on a scale of 1 to 5; 4 YUMS
I can’t wait to use this product to make a Pad Thai style sauce! Good job, Bell Plantation! This is an excellent, revolutionary product!
